I have always defined quality simply as “right first time.” Fortrea has a systemic approach to quality that enables us to deliver this simple commitment in a complex environment.
We adhere to our established quality management system, designed and operated to meet global regulations, industry best practice, and our customer expectations. We stay current on all global regulations and standards in our industry as well as those being drafted by regulatory agencies. Our facilities, equipment, systems, and teams are designed and operated to ensure the ongoing quality, safety and efficacy of products, and integrity of data. Our teams are qualified, trained, and competent for all projects to which they are assigned. We have implemented performance indicators that measure our progress toward our quality objectives, including conducting regularly scheduled management reviews to continually improve our processes and services.
Our quality management system is founded on our belief that quality is everyone’s responsibility. Each one of us owns it, demonstrated as part of our Fortrea FOUR commitment to Uphold Integrity: I do the right things in the right way, with the safety of patients and research volunteers always coming first.

Implemented Veeva Quality Vault in 2019 for all audits, inspections, quality issue reporting, and resolution. We implemented the Veeva QualityDocs vault in 2022 to maintain all of our controlled documents (Policies, Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Forms).
